Fire safety at home goes much further than playing with matches. That’s what Posie and Mo, two bored children at home, encounter when left to their own devices. They remember the fire safety lessons from their local firefighters, who teach them the value of safety in the kitchen and bathroom. Knowledge is their asset when discussing the plan to get out of the house if the smoke detector sounds off, where everyone can get out of the house and call 911 while remaining safe.
Written in several poetic forms, the focused age group is between 4-7 years.
